“You have cancer” – It can be so frightening and horrifying to hear those words.
I have had people around me go through that experience, including my wife, my father, my grandparents and other close friends. Most were able to beat it, with courage, determination, and the miracle of modern medicine. Other loved ones lived through the pain with courage, but in the end, the cancer was not able to be contained and eventually it took their life.
This site is not a site where I will tell you what treatment is best and which ones to avoid. I am not qualified to prescribe or recommend treatments of any sort. Please seek professional advice for that. This site is to be used as a resource to find qualified sites that deal with specific types of cancer. This site is a directory of cancer treatment sites so you can easily and quickly find a useful site that deals with a specific form of cancer treatment.
For each type of cancer, I will try to list some of the most popular and informative sites about that type of cancer treatment and then give a brief summary of the site.
If you find other useful sites that I have not listed, please email me at recommendations@be-cancer-smart.com.
